handmade sweets take 2

quick and easy fudge

ingredients

400g of good quality dark chocolate
1 can of condensed milk
150g butter - salt reduced
1 tspn of vanilla essence
{you could add another flavour if you liked like peppermint, orange or booze}

break up the chocolate and pop everything in a saucepan
{can't you just see how good these are for you!!}

combine everything over a low heat until melted and thickened
{about 5minutes and keep stirring}

pour into a lined container

and smooth out until all even

then refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours

lift out of container and remove the baking paper

cut into what ever size pieces you like remembering this is VERY rich

because the fudge is sticky i like to wrap each piece up individually as it makes it easier to present as a gift

cut out some pieces of baking paper large enough to wrap around you fudge pieces with longer ends so you can twist them {see below}

and you have cute individual pieces

this recipe makes a lot of bit size pieces to enjoy

hope you enjoy them

i'll post my little gift boxes very soon
