a friend recently had a nasty car accident and sustained horrific crush injuries to one of her hands and arms... it's got me thinking how much i really appreciate having both of mine in good working order

i hope your friend's recovery goes well. i will not complain next time i cut my finger chopping vegetables or at work on the paper. you too have a lovely weekend.
Just so true! It takes something like this to realise that what we have (and take for granted regularly) sure are super special! I hope your friend is going to be okay.
xx
So true! I think this is what grateful is all about - appreciating those things that we dont normally give a second thought to.
Oh your poor friend. Sometimes it takes something like this to be grateful for things taken for granted most of the time. x
That's such a horrible accident for your friend. I hope they can repair the damage because you are so right - our hands are exceptionally important. x
