the girls have loved every minute of growing a vege garden from scratch. from getting the soil ready to planting the seeds to watering and fertilizing it to watching it grow to picking the harvest and most importantly loving eating it. tonight we had fresh basil pesto made from the girls basil with pasta and zucchini, also from the garden. it was yum and the girls ate 2 serves
